But most of all, couples should tour the WaterFire. This has become Providence, RI’s top attraction after it was completed in 1994. Millions of people have already flocked to this area to see the romantic scene. Imagine a hundred small fires on the river on a star-lit night and you will get the picture. But WaterFire is not operational all year round. This attraction is only open from May to October. Providence, RI has certainly come a long way from its past reputation as being a boring and gloomy place and you can expect that this city’s reputation will only get better in time.
