Packaging your Vacation Rentals for Success!  Presentation Counts!Marketing Vacation Rentals

If you are advertising your vacation rental online – be sure that it is packaged for results!  Presentation, presentation, presentation!  Most everything we buy today is packaged as a presentation.  That is why there are people who devote their careers to making cool little boxes for jewelry, fancy brochures to market homes, sexy Super Bowl ads to sell domain names and the list goes on.  Car advertisers show cars.  Not fuzzy pictures of cars, but glossy awesome pics of cars.

It’s no different for vacation homeowners marketing their furnished homes to travelers.  Packaging your vacation rentals for rent should include at a minimum these 3 elements -

  • VISUALLY Stimulating – Lots of Great Images
  • INFORMATIVE and Relevant – Why you should stay at my rental!
  • A Call to ACTION! - Here’s how you book a reservation for my vacation house.

Most travelers looking over vacation rental advertising rarely get past step 1 – Often they will not even consider your rental as possibility if you do not “package” the home properly.  They look at your “packaging” – your images – and make a decision to then read about your home and perhaps book it.  If your visual presentation is lousy then fogetta’bout it!  Remember, you are not the only one advertising a vacation rental online.  Depending on your location you could be competing with hundreds of vacation home rentals.  View more image tips now.

Be sure your vacation rental blog (do I need a blog for my vacation home?) , vacation rental directory ads and personal websites (do I need a personal website for my vacation rental?)  “package” your vacation homes and compel your visitors to get to the most important step – booking a reservation.
