A vacation rental may be just the ticket for less stress over the holidays. Even if you really enjoy being with your parents, in-laws, friends and family – everybody still needs some alone time! If you can afford to rent a vacation rental in close proximity to your family and friends – all the better.
It’s nice to have a place to escape to for private time, a nice bed and just get some down time during all the holiday festivities. If you are traveling with children it may be a “great” idea to rent a furnished home as even the grandparents and in-laws can get weary fairly quickly with all the excitement. Holiday vacations can be less stressful if everyone can part company for a while, get a good nights sleep and get back to the action the next morning.

What a great idea! Personal space can make all the difference to holiday time. Whether its the ability to ‘run away’ into your corner for some well deserved shut-eye or just a few minutes away from the kids, a vacation rental is the ideal way to get that space. Of course that ignores all the other benefits – like a pool and other amenities. Some families may want to spend all the holidays in a vacation rental!

I agree with you. Since I discovered the vacation rental way of traveling, I have never traveled any other way. Vacation rentals provide great space and privacy and most of the times are a cheaper alternative to hotel rooms. I usually use a site called Rentalo.com which allows me to send a single inquiry to all the properties in a destination that match my criteria. This is great because I can compare all the offers that property owners send me, without spending hours searching in the internet. It really helps me to lower down the costs and find the best option.
